BRANDING MaVIDA HEaLTH
Mavida Health is a series A tech startup rethinking the the wellness system around which mamas receive maternal mental health care. Working with them since their inception, I aimed to position Mavida as a modern wellness authority for birthing folks at every stage of parenthood. This has included everything from a full design audit to a comprehensive style guide, editorial and social creative for their mobile content library, as well as design oversight for web & mobile applications, printed collateral, merchandise and lifestyle photoshoots for their team.
It is extremely gratifying to lend my design expertise to a cause I believe in for an underserved population and watch this incredible company come to life. Learn more about what Mavida Health is up to by checking out this recent article about their work in Forbes.
BRAND IDENtity
My primary focus was to create a logomark and to design Mavida’s style guidelines, which would need to extend to everything from email footers to print, along with a clear aesthetic that could be translated to their website and mobile application, which recently launched.
SOCIAL
I worked with Mavida to develop social content informed by their identity, while giving them a collection of customizable templates that could be adapted flexibly across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and on their library of micro-learnings, lovingly referred to as “The MotherLoad.”
PHOTOgraphy
In addition to branding Mavida, the founders brought me in to capture all of their individual headshots and team portraits in Los Angeles. I also helped establish the overall treatment of photography and continue to help art direct their lifestyle photography.
